Ask for it

I saw a TED talk on YouTube called "100 days of refusal" or something like that. The topic was do not afraid of get refused after you ask. One of the story was like this, this guy bring a flower and nock a stranger's door to plant that flower "Hey, can I plant this flower to your backyard?". The house owner refuse it of course "No.". And the guy didn't runaway after refusal and ask him another question "Can I ask you why?". The owner explains the reason for it "Well my dog eats everything in my backyard. So your flower won't be last for day.". And he gives recommendation "The Jessy who lives right next door loves flowers. You can ask her" After all, he gave the flower to Jessy with reference of the house owner. This refresh me up because I felt same as the talker, afraid of asking, not ask for anything for anyone. After this talks, I have two asks I made. First, I asked motorcycle buyer to come to my hose to pickup spare keys for motorcycle. Second, I asked to keep my things in my share house. The point is this: you do not know other people's mind, so don't estimated yourself. Also, asking doesn't cost to you at all. There is no such a risk for asking anything for anyone.
