The bridge will down the size of the Collision Domain and increase the number of Collision Domain.
Which is lead to more stable network.
Bridge work as 2-port switch in wired network
But the size of Broadcast domain is same.
A switch connection will give you 1 collision domain per pc.
Hub: 1 Collision domain, 1 broadcast domain
Hub with Bridge: 2 collision domain, 1 broadcast domain
Switch: 4 collision domain, 1 broadcast domain/ broadcast domain can be logically segmented by vLAN
