Moving to catch mobile

My Woolies mobile deal almost finished and used up data (due to downloading movie weeks ago).

The deal was $50 (was $60), 12GB, 6 month (actually 180 days) expiary. Plus, once per month 10 per cent off from woolies shopping.

 

Catch deal was $81 (Was $99, first user and unidays discount), 60GB, 12 month expiary (actually 365 days).

 

I'm actually fine with 12gb per 6 month arrangement as I don't use the data much. I was considering Boost mobile for international calling but I assume that I don't do it much.

 

So it's kinda $81 vs 120 (12 times woolies discount). If 12 times of woolies discounts makes more than $40, it worth it. To do that, it works out to be $34 worth shopping once a month in one transaction. Its do-able but i'm lazy and I choose not to. The discount cap is on $50 so you can save more money if you buy lot of things in woolies at once every month.
