Create connection between pfSense and DC

Type 8 to enter shell and type ifconfig em1 to see information.

In this example, its MAC address (hardware address on 3, 4 line) is 00:0C:29:BD:C3:14

Type exit to exit shell environment.

And right click on vm and click settings. Select Servers LAN segment NIC and click Advanced... on right side.

You can see its MAC address shown on the bottom matches with MAC address on pfSense.

Now, go to DC and set computer name as DC-01 and set its IP address as 192.168.1.2

This process require restart.

To use Internet Explorer, go to Server Manager - Local Server

Click IE Enhanced Security Configuration and turn off both settings.

Or Simply install Google Chrome or Firefox also works.

Open up Internet Explorer and type 192.168.1.1 on address bar. Ignore all warning by clicking continue.

After all, this blue pfSense sign in page should show up.

Default admin account is Username: admin/ Password: pfsense

If it not working, check if they can ping each other. In windows open cmd and type ping 192.168.1.1 and for pfSense, type 7 and put 192.168.1.2
